These duvet covers and European shams are made from 100% natural silk charmeuse fabric. Mulberry Park Silk bedding is made from the finest silk fibers - 6A Grade -which gives the material its smooth texture and softness. This 22 momme Mulberry silk fabric is woven from a strong silk thread. For comparison, 22 momme mulberry silk fabric equates to the weight of 900 thread count cotton fabric. Unlike cotton, however, silk fabric is naturally hypoallergenic, resistant to dust mites, mold, fungus, and other allergens. Silk is so gentle on skin that dermatologists often recommend silk sheets for people with sensitive skin or acne!

How to Care for your Pure Silk Bedding

Your Charmeuse silk bed linen is quite easy to care for; silk fiber requires only an extra bit of attention. Your Silk duvet cover and pillowcase can be machine washed or washed by hand. If you are going to use a washing machine to launder the bedding set you should:

• Machine wash in cold water on a delicate cycle only.
• Use a mesh laundry bag.
• Use a delicate detergent like Fine Silk and Wool Detergent from Heritage Park which is formulated specifically for silk bedding. Hang dry out of direct sunlight. See below for detailed care instructions.
