Our scrunchies are made from 100% pure Mulberry Charmeuse Silk and NEVER from synthetic or polyester satin. Available in a Small (skinny) size that is best for thin hair and short hair and a Large size that is great for thicker hair.

I use the large ones to put my hair in a loose bun at the back of my neck before putting it in a turban using the silk head scarf, or when putting my hair in a top knot before a facial beauty care routine or bath.
I use the small ones for standalone ponytail and, they even work for the end of a braid where the hair tapers!
That leads me to my one request: I do wish there were a couple included in the set that were the same size elastic as the small ones but half circumference so I didn't have to wrap four times at the end of a braid taper. But even with the four wraps it is light enough pressure that there is no kinking and yet these hair ties hold better than the standard hair elastic (which has a tendency to slip off the end of my hair regardless of how cinched down they are, and those cause kinking too), I think this is because even with a very small amount of stretch in the elastic the many folds of silk fabric gently hold the hair without needing a huge amount of elastic compression? However it does it, it works.
Overall impression: no kinking, tugging, breaking, or tangling. Five stars all the way around!

These are so well made! I've purchased from a number of different companies and these by far are my favorite! They are bigger and silkier than other brands. I have curly hair and the large scrunchies work best! The small ones are better for straight hair.
