Returns & Exchanges

We want you to feel completely confident and delighted with your Mulberry Park Silks purchase. Our policies are designed to protect the integrity of our luxury silk while making your experience clear, fair, and hygienic.

Why We Have These Policies

Silk is a delicate, premium fiber that requires strict hygiene standards. To ensure that every customer receives a fresh, pristine, never-used item, all returns are carefully evaluated by our in-house Quality Control Team. These policies help us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and product integrity.

Returns & Exchanges at a Glance

  • Returns accepted within 30 days of tracked delivery.
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in original packaging.
  • All returns must be authorized through our Return / Exchange Portal.
  • Once approved, items must be shipped back within 14 days.
  • Refunds apply to product cost only; shipping is non-refundable.
  • Outlet items and all Down / Down Alternative products are final sale.
  • Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 10 days of delivery.
Return Process (Step-by-Step)

1. Submit a request:
Use our Return / Exchange Portal to begin your request.

2. Receive authorization:
You’ll receive approval and instructions within 1–2 business days. Unauthorized returns cannot be accepted.

3. Prepare your package:
Include all original packaging, inserts, and your packing slip. Package items securely to avoid damage during transit.

4. Ship your return:
• Customers who selected Checkout+ at checkout receive free return shipping.
• Customers who opted out will have return shipping deducted from their refund.
• Items must be shipped within 14 days of approval.

5. Refund or exchange processing:
Once your return passes inspection, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Condition Guidelines for Returned Items

To be eligible for refund or exchange, items must:

  • Include all original packaging, inserts, tags, and accessories.
  • Be unused, unwashed, unworn, and unaltered.
  • Be completely free of human or pet hair.
  • Have no visible signs of wear, including makeup, skincare, deodorant, or lotion residue.
  • Be free of fragrance, perfume, essential oils, smoke, or other odors.
  • Show no evidence of laundering, damage, or fabric disruption from friction.
  • Be returned within the required timelines.
  • To safeguard your health and safety, our Quality Control Team performs a detailed, multi-step inspection on any item that has been opened or unwrapped.
  • Items that are returned in their original, fully sealed outer packaging will not be  opened or examined.

Items that do not meet these standards will be returned to the customer and are not eligible for refund or exchange.

Our Quality Control Team’s Inspection Process

Physical Inspection

Each item is inspected for stains, abrasion, pilling, and friction patterns that indicate prior use or laundering using magnification tools.

Blacklight Examination (UV Scan)

All returns are carefully scanned under UV/blacklight to detect any residue, stains, or fabric disruption that may not be visible to the naked eye.

Photography

We document each returned item with time-stamped, high-resolution photography to maintain internal accountability and verify condition.

Odor & Allergen Screening

Items are inspected for trace odors such as fragrance, smoke, and other environmental pollutants, as well as signs of pet dander or other potential allergens.

Packaging Verification

Original packaging components—including inserts, tags, and protective materials—must be present and in new condition.

Only items that pass all inspection points are eligible for refund or exchange. Items that do not pass inspection will be returned to the customer and are not eligible for refund.

Exchanges

Items requested for exchange must meet the same condition and inspection standards as returns.

Exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of the tracked delivery date.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please:

  • Notify us within 10 days of the tracked delivery date.
  • Ensure items remain in brand new, unwashed condition.
  • For incorrect items, we will provide a return label at no cost and promptly send the correct product.

Claims submitted after 10 days may be eligible for store credit only.

Outlet Item Terms

All Outlet items are final sale.

These products are new, but may be removed from original packaging or missing some packaging components. Each Outlet item is carefully inspected by our Quality Control Team to ensure it meets our standards.

Shipping Instructions for Returns

Unless the item is defective or incorrect:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs (if Checkout+ was not selected).
  • Mulberry Park Silks is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
  • We recommend using a traceable, insured carrier such as UPS, USPS, or FedEx.

If your returned item passes Quality Control inspection, we will refund the purchase price (less any applicable fees) to your original form of payment.

International Return Policy
  • Refunds apply to product cost only.
  • Shipping costs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.
  • Items must be in original, unused, unwashed condition and packaging.
  • Refunds are processed within 3 business days after the return is received and accepted.
  • Any duties paid to local customs authorities are not refundable by us; customers may contact their local customs office regarding potential duty refunds.
