Silk Sheets: The Pinnacle of Luxury

Nothing compares to the feeling of sleeping on silk. Whether you’re new to silk or a seasoned silk aficionado, a silk sheet set from Mulberry Park Silks can deliver the indulgent night’s rest you crave–and deserve!

Surround Yourself in Luxury

When it comes to luxury bedding, nothing compares to silk sheets. For thousands of years, silk has been prized as the most desirable, indulgent, sensuous fabric on Earth. And it remains so today. The soft luster of pure silk charmeuse cannot be replicated either with cotton or artificial satin fabric; silk also layers and drapes beautifully for a true style statement. Of course, the stunning look of silk sheets is exceeded only by their feel: soft, smooth, and just a little bit decadent. If you’ve been sleeping on cotton, you may need a night or two to acclimate to the feel of silk sheets. Once you do, we don’t think you’ll ever want to go back.

Only Real Silk Delivers the Indulgent Feel You Crave

Make no mistake: Mulberry silk sheets and satin sheets are NOT the same. Silk is a natural, protein-based fiber woven from the protective cocoon of the silkworm. Satin is a synthetic fabric made from protein-based polyester. If you’re looking for indulgent, breathable luxury bedding, don’t settle for anything less than genuine silk.

An Overnight Beauty Treatment for Hair and Skin

Our silk bedding delivers more than unparalleled luxury. They are an overnight beauty treatment for your hair and skin. In fact, a set of our pure silk sheets is an absolute must for anyone in search of a beautiful night's sleep. Our silk keeps hair and skin hydrated; it helps to prevent tangles, frizz, and bedhead; and minimizes sleep wrinkles as you sleep!

Discover the Insider's Secret to Better Beauty Sleep (Shhhh!)

Silk sheets are the ultimate insider secret to better beauty sleep. And we’re about to deliver the scoop. The facts are simple, soft, gentle, protein-based silk is simply amazing for your hair and skin. Our smooth silk bedding tames tangles and bedhead; prevents frizz and breakage; and naturally hydrates your hair.

The friction-free surface also protects and nourishes hair as it grows. And for your skin? Anti-aging benefits galore! The sleek, gentle surface of silk bedding prevents sleep wrinkles (no pulling or tugging delicate eye area) and naturally hydrates skin while you rest. Our silk sheets are also perfect for sensitive and acne-prone skin; they’re hypoallergenic, non-irritating, and certified free from toxins and chemicals.

Silk Bedding for the Hair of Your Dreams

You’ll love what sleeping on silk sheets does for your hair, including taming frizz and tangles and helping your tresses retain their natural moisture.

Silk is a soft, smooth, friction-free surface. There’s no pulling or tugging like you get with the microscopic fibers from a cotton pillowcase. This means our silk bedding tames tangles and prevents breakage and split ends.  The gentle surface of silk is ideal for protecting delicate hair and promoting regrowth. And if you want to preserve that pricey and time-consuming blow-out, you should definitely be sleeping on silk.

Protein-based silk fabric naturally hydrates and helps your hair retain essential moisture. Did you know that cotton, which is naturally absorbent, can actually pull moisture out of your hair while you sleep? Think about that: cotton bedding acts as a reverse conditioner for your hair. Switching to silk will surround your hair with the soft, protein-rich, amino acids that will keep it looking and feeling great. In fact, many high-end salon conditioning products actually contain a silk protein, known as sericin.

If you have coarse, curly, or kinky hair, you can tame frizz by sleeping on silk sheets and pillowcases. First, silk provides a friction-free, gentle environment that will keep your curls from tangling, breaking, and splitting. Nothing is gentler on your hair than silk. Second, silk naturally hydrates your hair. This is absolutely essential because the structure of a curly hair follicle makes it far more likely to grow dry and damaged. Silk sheets can help!

Your Skin's New Best Friend

Silk sheets are an absolute gift to your skin. The smooth surface helps minimize sleep creases while the protein-based fibers soothe and hydrate sensitive or dry skin.

The friction-free, ultra-soft texture of our silk means your delicate facial skin can glide across easily, helping to stop those nasty sleep lines - the ones that can lead to fine lines and wrinkle formation! Pair our pure silk sheets and pillowcases with a pure mulberry silk eye mask to truly pamper your peepers.

The highest quality skincare products can be costly. But when you take all that time and money to apply your nightly routine just to sleep in cotton, all that work could be wasted! Cotton and other fabrics can be highly absorbent and great at pulling moisture away from your skin, including that fancy serum or body lotion.

Silk naturally is moisture-wicking and helps keep your favorite products where they belong - on you!

When it comes to delicate skin, silk is one of the healthiest, most gentle fabrics you can sleep on. It is naturally hypoallergenic and resistant to bacteria that can add to acne-prone skin, as well as mold and mites. Doctors recommend sleeping on silk for those with sensitive skin (even babies) and common skin conditions like acne and eczema. Pure silk sheets will soothe and calm your skin (and your spirit).

Silk is a protein-based fiber. This makes silk naturally moisturizing and protective to your skin. Cotton bedding is absorbent and pulls moisture away from your delicate facial skin while you sleep. Silk's unique properties help your skin retain more moisture than cotton, so your skin can stay healthy and hydrated all night.

According to dermatologists, silk bedding is the top choice for acne-prone or sensitive skin

Natural silk bedding is a perfect choice for anyone with acne-prone or sensitive skin. Additionally, it is hypoallergenic and naturally resistant to mold, dust mites, fungus, and other allergens. In fact, skin care specialists and dermatologists often recommend sleeping on silk to help manage these skin conditions.

While silk is not magical, Mulberry Park bedding has special properties that make it the ideal sleep surface for people with sensitive skin or conditions like acne, eczema, or psoriasis.

Explore The Natural Wellness Benefits That Only Pure Silk Bedding Can Offer

Rest comfortably in any temperature

Did you know that silk keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter? Pure silk is a natural, protein-based fiber with a unique biological structure. Unlike cotton (which absorbs moisture and stays damp) silk sheets wick away moisture to keep you cool and dry in warm weather or if you’re a hot sleeper. When the conditions turn cool, the air pockets in silk fiber work to insulate and keep you warm. This makes silk the ideal fabric for sleeping comfortably year-round, in any weather, and under any conditions.

What Makes Mulberry Park Silks Special

Our silk is pure. All of our silk bedding and accessories are made from 100% pure mulberry silk, known for beauty, luster, and strength.

Our silk is the highest quality in the marketplace. Our silk is always graded 6A, which is the highest quality available. No matter who you buy your silk from, never settle for inferior quality silk, always purchase Grade 6A silk quality.

Silk is Breathable

Mulberry Park silk bedding is spun from the highest quality silk in the market: Grade 6A. This premium silk features incredibly fine and strong individual fibers that allow air to circulate naturally, providing exceptional breathability.

Silk is Moisture-Wicking

Pure mulberry silk is naturally moisture-wicking due to its unique protein structure, which features a series of tightly woven fibers. These fibers absorb moisture—such as sweat—up to 30% of their weight without feeling damp. Once absorbed, the moisture is quickly dispersed across the surface of the silk, where it evaporates efficiently.

Silk is Temperature-Regulating

Silk's structure allows it to act as a natural insulator, trapping warmth during colder months to keep you cozy. In warmer weather, the breathable nature of silk lets excess heat escape while allowing air to circulate, keeping you cool. This ability to retain warmth and promote airflow makes silk the perfect fabric for maintaining a comfortable sleep temperature.

Silk is Naturally Hypoallergenic

Sericin, a natural protein in silk, repels bacteria, mold, and dust mites by creating a protective barrier on the fibers. This barrier has antimicrobial properties that inhibit the growth of harmful microorganisms, making it difficult for bacteria, mold, and dust mites to thrive. Sericin's ability to repel these elements helps keep silk clean, hypoallergenic, and safe for sensitive skin.

OEKO-TEX® Certified Safe

That’s why all our products meet the strict OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 criteria. This independent certification ensures that every item we produce is free from harmful toxins and chemicals at every stage of manufacturing, giving you peace of mind with every use.

What Customers Are Saying

Our Silk Products Have Been Recognized By

Mulberry Park Silks was named "Best Overall Sheet Set" by both Women's Health and Prevention's online magazine in its ranking of the top silk bedding. Additionally, our pillowcases are ranked in Oprah Magazine as one of the "Best Silk Pillowcases".

Today, we produced the best quality silk for the money, and here's why...

Mulberry Park silk bedding is all made of 100% natural Mulberry silk in a luxurious charmeuse weave.

Charmeuse is not a type of silk but rather a type of weave. When silk is manufactured in a charmeuse weave, it gives the fabric a smooth, shiny finish on one side and the reverse (or backside) has a soft matte finish. In a charmeuse weave, the warp threads cross over four of the backing weft threads. This creates a lightweight silk fabric with a beautiful sheen perfect for bedding, robes, and sleepwear.

Our silk is always graded 6A, which is the highest quality silk on the market. No matter who you buy your silk from, never settle for inferior quality silk, always purchase Grade 6A silk quality.

Know the Silk Weight (Momme) When Purchasing Silk Sheets

Our silk comes in a variety of weights, known as momme. Similar to thread count for cotton fabric, momme measures the amount and density of silk fabric. The higher the momme count or number, the more silk is used. For comparison, 19 momme silk fabric equates to the weight of 600 thread count cotton fabric and 22 momme silk is comparable to 900 thread count. Our silk bedding is available in 19 momme, 22 momme, and 30 momme weights. Again, the higher the momme number the more silk that is used when making the best silk fabric.

What this means for Silk Sheets

Our 19 Momme sheets are the lightest weight, most breathable fabric we offer. Great for those in warmer climates or who naturally sleep hot.

Our 22 Momme fabric is what we like to call our "Goldilocks" fabric. Not too light, not too heavy, still very breathable, truly our most popular choice in bedding. This fabric has the highest sheen and smoothness.

Our 30 Momme bedding is our heaviest weight fabric. Great for cooler climates or seasons, or for those who tend to be chilly at night. This wonderful fabric is very durable and has a dense feel.

Silk fitted sheet

I washed the sheet correctly and it does pill

Hi Margaret,
We are sorry to hear that you were disapointed by piling on your sheets. Silk sheets can pill for several reasons, though silk itself is generally less prone to pilling than other fabrics. Here are some factors that could cause pilling on silk sheets:

Friction: High levels of friction, such as frequent tossing and turning during sleep or rubbing against rough fabrics like cotton or wool, can lead to pilling on silk sheets.

Improper Care: Washing silk in a washing machine with rough fabrics, using harsh detergents, or exposing silk to high heat can weaken the fibers and lead to pilling. Silk sheets should be hand-washed or washed on a delicate cycle with a detergent made for silk, like Heritage Park Silk & Wool Laundry Detergent, and air-dried.

We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase, so if we can assist you with a discounted replacement. Please do not hesitate to reach out .

Nice, but missed details

Nice silk, I expected no less for the price. But annoying not to have a tag that gave the size of the sheet (e.g. "queen" or "king") and no "top/bottom" tag--that helps enormously with fitted sheets. For the price, I hoped for more.

Hi Elizabeth,
Thank you for leaving a review and sharing your thoughts. I will be sharing them with my product development team, so we can continue making improvements to our silk sheets. Have a wonderful day!

The Science of Silk

Silk is a protein-based fiber. Your hair and skin are also protein-based. This is why silk nourishes hair and skin and helps them retain natural moisture. In fact, lots of spa- and salon-level hair and skin products contain silk protein, known as sericin.

What are Silk Amino Acids?

Silk amino acids are natural water-soluble glycoproteins extracted from silk. Therefore, you will see the term "silk amino acids," also referred to as "sericin" or "silk protein." The protein structure of amino acids in our skin and the protein structure of amino acids in silk are highly compatible.

Amino acids are the building blocks used to make peptides and proteins we all need to stay healthy. When a silkworm creates its filament, the silk fiber is "glued together" with sericin or silk amino acids. Many high-end cosmetics and lotions secret ingredients are the essential amino acids and sericin they extract from silk. When you sleep on a silk pillowcase or silk bed sheets, your skin and hair also benefit from these natural amino acids and sericin found in the silk fiber.

As a protein-based fiber, silk is hypoallergenic and naturally resistant to mold, dust mites, fungus, and other allergens. It is non-irritating and ideal for sensitive skin. Silk is recommended for anyone with sensitive skin or conditions like acne, eczema, or psoriasis.

Silk fiber has a unique molecular structure. It is breathable and moisture wicking. In hot temperatures, silk keeps you cool. In colder temperatures, silk creates pockets of insulation that trap air to keep you warm. Unlike It is the ideal fabric for sleeping well and regulating temperature in any conditions.
