    Hypoallergenic, Ultra Soft, and Breathable

Our silk fabric is designed to be naturally hypoallergenic, resistant to dust mites, mold, fungus, and other allergens. The silk crib sheet is breathable and super soft, making it the ideal sleep environment for your precious baby.

    Protects Baby's Sensitive Skin

Your baby's delicate skin is uniquely vulnerable to problems like dryness, eczema, and cradle cap. Silk crib sheets help with these conditions by keeping infant skin well-hydrated to help prevent and heal the dry, scaly patches and irritation common with eczema. Silk fabric has antifungal and wicking properties that also help control cradle cap, a yeast infection of baby's scalp, face, and skin folds.

    Gentle on your Baby's Hair

Some babies have a distinct bald patch on the back of their heads as the result of friction against hard surfaces like mattresses or car seats. Cotton crib sheets contribute to the problem, as fibers can tug on delicate baby hair and cause it to fall out. A silk charmeuse crib sheet allows your baby's head to glide friction-free across its smooth surface with no rubbing, tugging, or tearing at fragile hair.

Temperature Regulating, Breathable for your Baby's Comfort

Silk crib sheets are breathable and help regulate your baby's body temperature. Silk also wicks away moisture to keep the baby dry, unlike cotton sheets.

    Environmentally Friendly and Safe

Feel good about putting your baby down to sleep on a silk sheet from Mulberry Park Silks. We use only environmentally friendly dyes, and all products are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified to be safe from harmful chemicals.

Sleep Better and Wake Up with Healthy Hair and Skin

A 100 percent silk pillowcase is an absolute must for anyone in search of a beautiful night's sleep. It helps to prevent sleep wrinkles and aids in keeping hair beautifully styled throughout the night. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter, a Mulberry Park pure silk pillowcase is a delightful luxury to be enjoyed throughout the year.

Discover the Insider's Secret to Better Beauty Sleep (Shhhh!)

Silk sheets are the ultimate insider secret to better beauty sleep. And we’re about to deliver the scoop (shhhhh!).  The facts are simple, soft, gentle, protein-based silk is simply amazing for your hair and skin. Our smooth silk bedding tames tangles and bedhead; prevents frizz and breakage; and naturally hydrates your hair.

The friction free surface also protects and nourishes hair as it grows. And for your skin? Anti-aging benefits galore! The sleek, gentle surface of silk bedding prevents sleep wrinkles (no pulling or tugging delicate eye area) and naturally hydrates skin while you rest. Our silk sheets are also perfect for sensitive and acne-prone skin; they’re hypoallergenic, non-irritating, and certified free from toxins and chemicals.

Rest comfortably in any temperature

Did you know that silk keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter? Pure silk is a natural, protein-based fiber with a unique biological structure. Unlike cotton (which absorbs moisture and stays damp) silk sheets wick away moisture to keep you cool and dry in warm weather or if you’re a hot sleeper. When the conditions turn cool, the air pockets in silk fiber work to insulate and keep you warm. This makes silk the ideal fabric for sleeping comfortably year-round, in any weather, and under any conditions.

Surround yourself in luxury

When it comes to luxury bedding, nothing compares to silk sheets. For thousands of years, silk has been prized as the most desirable, indulgent, sensuous fabric on Earth. And it remains so today. The soft luster of pure silk charmeuse cannot be replicated either with cotton or artificial satin fabric; silk also layers and drapes beautifully for a true style statement. Of course, the stunning look of silk sheets is exceeded only by their feel: soft, smooth, and just a little bit decadent. If you’ve been sleeping on cotton, you may need a night or two to acclimate to the feel of silk sheets. Once you do, we don’t think you’ll ever want to go back.

Testimonials

Silk Sheets are Great for Your Hair

You’ll love what sleeping on silk sheets does for your hair, including taming frizz and tangles and helping your tresses retain their natural moisture.

No More Bedhead or Tangles

Silk is a soft, smooth, friction-free surface. There’s no pulling or tugging like you get with the microscopic fibers from a cotton pillowcase. This means our silk bedding tames tangles and prevents breakage and split ends.  The gentle surface of silk is ideal for protecting delicate hair and promoting regrowth. And if you want to preserve that pricey and time-consuming blow-out, you should definitely be sleeping on silk.

Silk Sheets Keep Hair Hydrated

Protein-based silk fabric naturally hydrates and helps your hair retain essential moisture. Did you know that cotton, which is naturally absorbent, can actually pull moisture out of your hair while you sleep? Think about that: cotton bedding acts as a reverse conditioner for your hair. Switching to silk will surround your hair with the soft, protein-rich, amino acids that will keep it looking and feeling great. In fact, many high-end salon conditioning products actually contain silk protein, known as sericin.

Silk Sheets Tame Frizz

If you’ve got coarse, curly, or kinky hair, you can tame frizz by sleeping on silk sheets and pillowcases. First, silk provides a friction-free, gentle environment that will keep your curls from tangling, breaking, and splitting. Nothing is gentler on your hair than silk. Second, silk naturally hydrates your hair. This is absolutely essential, because the structure of a curly hair follicle makes it far more likely to grow dry and damaged. Silk sheets can help!

Silk Sheets are Great for Your Skin

Silk sheets are an absolute gift to your skin. The smooth surface helps minimize sleep creases while the protein-based fibers soothe and hydrate sensitive or dry skin.

No More Sleep Wrinkles

The friction-free surface of our silk means your delicate facial skin can glide across. This can help silk stop those nasty sleep lines (the ones that can lead to fine lines and wrinkle formation)! Pair our pure silk sheets and pillowcase with a pure mulberry silk eye mask to truly pamper your peepers.

Soothes Acne and Sensitive Skin

Speaking of your face, silk is non-irritating. It is naturally hypoallergenic and resistant to mold and mites. Doctors recommend sleeping on silk for folks with sensitive skin (even babies) and common skin conditions like acne and eczema. Pure silk sheets will soothe and calm your skin (and your spirit)..

Helps Skin Retain its Natural Moisture

Silk is a protein-based fiber. This makes silk naturally moisturizing and protective to your skin. Cotton bedding is absorbent and pulls moisture away from your delicate facial skin while you sleep. Silk's unique properties help your skin retain more moisture than cotton, so your skin can stay healthy and hydrated all night.

Keeping You Warm in Winter, Cool in Summer

Silk regulates temperature and wicks moisture. Silk fabric is breathable, which keeps you comfortable year-round in any sleep conditions.

Why is Silk So Wonderful for Hair and Skin?

There's a lot of science behind why silk is so wonderful for you. We're happy to share our expertise to help you understand why silk is so special.

Silk is a protein-based fiber. Your hair and skin are also protein-based. This is why silk nourishes hair and skin and helps them retain natural moisture. In fact, lots of spa- and salon-level hair and skin products contain silk protein, known as sericin.

What are Silk Amino Acids?

Silk amino acids are natural water-soluble glycoproteins extracted from silk. Therefore, you will see the term "silk amino acids," also referred to as "sericin" or "silk protein." The protein structure of amino acids in our skin and the protein structure of amino acids in silk are highly compatible.

Amino acids are the building blocks used to make peptides and proteins we all need to stay healthy. When a silkworm creates its filament, the silk fiber is "glued together" with sericin or silk amino acids. Many high-end cosmetics and lotions secret ingredients are the essential amino acids and sericin they extract from silk. When you sleep on a silk pillowcase or silk bed sheets, your skin and hair also benefit from these natural amino acids and sericin found in the silk fiber.

As a protein-based fiber, silk is hypoallergenic and naturally resistant to mold, dust mites, fungus, and other allergens. It is non-irritating and ideal for sensitive skin. Silk is recommended for anyone with sensitive skin or conditions like acne, eczema, or psoriasis.

Silk fiber has a unique molecular structure. It is breathable and moisture wicking. In hot temperatures, silk keeps you cool. In colder temperatures, silk creates pockets of insulation that trap air to keep you warm. It is the ideal fabric for sleeping well and regulating temperature in any conditions.

According to dermatologists, a silk pillowcase is the top choice for acne prone or sensitive skin

A natural silk pillowcase is a perfect choice for anyone with acne-prone or sensitive skin. Additionally, it is hypoallergenic and naturally resistant to mold, dust mites, fungus, and other allergens. In fact, skincare specialists and dermatologists often recommend sleeping on silk to help manage these skin conditions.

While silk is not magical, a Mulberry Park pillowcase has special properties that make it the ideal sleep surface for people with sensitive skin or conditions like acne, eczema, or psoriasis.

Pure mulberry silk wicks away moisture, which keeps it away from sensitive skin.

Our silks is temperature regulating

The unique cellular structure of silk fiber allows it to naturally regulate temperature, keeping you warm in winter, cool in summer, and comfortable year-round.

Our silk is hypoallergenic

Silk fibers contain a special protein known as sericin, which naturally repels bacteria, mold, dust mites, and other allergens.

Our silk is OEKO-TEX® certified safe

At Mulberry Park, we believe you should feel absolutely confident that any silk you put next to your skin is safe, non-toxic, and natural. That's why we've taken the step of certifying all of our products to the rigorous criteria of OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. This independent certification means that everything we produce is safe from harmful toxins and chemicals through all phases of manufacturing.

Why You'll Love Our Silk Sheets

At Mulberry Park Silks, our mission is to deliver the highest quality silk products at fair and affordable prices. And for us, it’s personal. A decade ago, our founder, Mary, discovered the benefits of sleeping on silk. But, she was frustrated by the lack of high-quality, well-priced silk bedding on the market. So she spent more than a year searching and sourcing the perfect silk that satisfied her in terms of quality AND value

Today, we produced the best quality silk for the money, and here's why...

Mulberry Park silk pillowcases (and silk sheets) are all made of 100 percent natural mulberry silk in charmeuse weave, which is smooth and lustrous on one side with a soft, dull finish on the reverse.

Charmeuse comes from the French word for a female charmer. Charmeuse is not a type of silk but rather a type of weave. When silk is manufactured in a charmeuse weave, it gives the fabric a smooth, shiny finish on one side and the reverse (or backside) has a dull finish. When silk is woven in a charmeuse weave, the warp threads across over four of the backing weft threads. This weave creates a lightweight silk fabric with a beautiful sheen perfect for pillowcases, robes, and sleepwear.

We Use Only the Highest Quality Grade of Silk in Our Silk Sheets

Our silk is always graded 6A, which is the highest quality silk on the market. No matter who you buy your silk pillowcase from, never settle for inferior quality silk, always purchase grade 6A silk quality.

You’ll Love Our Silk

Mulberry Park Silks sells pillowcases, bedding, and accessories made of genuine, 100 percent pure silk. This is important. ONLY genuine silk delivers the unique health, wellness, and beauty benefits you deserve. Many low-priced “silky” pillowcases are not really silk but instead a petroleum-based polyester satin or rayon satin pillowcase or a silk blend.

Know the Silk Weight (Momme) When Purchasing a Silk Pillowcase

Our silk comes in a variety of weights, known as momme. Similar to thread count for cotton fabric, momme measures the amount and density of silk fabric. The higher the momme count or number, the more silk is used. For comparison, 19 momme silk fabric equates to the weight of 600 thread count cotton fabric and 22 momme silk is comparable to 900 thread count. Our silk pillowcases are available in 19 momme, 22 momme, and 30 momme weights. Again, the higher the momme number the more silk that is used when making the best silk pillowcase.

Our Silk is Certified Environmentally Friendly

Mulberry Park Silks prioritizes safety. Our natural silk pillowcases are already hypoallergenic. But we've taken the additional step of obtaining an outside safety certification. Every product we make is independently tested and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified to be safe from any harmful toxins and chemicals through every phase of the production process. We want your beauty sleep to be absolutely worry-free! Look for the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 logo and label proudly displayed on our website and products. When you purchase from us, rest assured that you are buying from an ethical silk company.

Design Details and Craftsmanship Matter

Design details and craftsmanship matter to us. Our pillowcase features a tailored French seam and a generous envelope closure to hold your pillow securely in place. We prefer the envelope over a zipper closure. Zipper pulls can easily puncture silk fabric and zipper teeth can catch and tear silk. Even a hidden zipper can poke you while you sleep. Our unique envelope with an 8'' flap stops all that. Tuck your pillow tightly in for a finished look and wonderful feel with no unattractive and uncomfortable zippers in sight!

Finally, Our Silk Products Have Been Recognized By

Mulberry Park Silk was recently named "Best Overall Sheet Set" by both Women's Health and Prevention's online magazine in its recent ranking of the top silk bedding. Additionally, this pillowcase is ranked in Oprah Magazine as one of the "Best Silk Pillowcases". Our silk pillowcases for hair and skincare is one of our most affordable products.
