"We bit the bullet and purchased this silk crib sheet. I expected it to be wasted money towards our problem, but the sheet has made a clear difference in his skin. He no longer wakes up with red, rough, dry cheeks."

Our 19 Momme Silk Crib Sheets are made to fit most standard size crib mattresses. They measure 28" by 52" and have an 8" deep, fully elasticized pocket to fit mattress heights up to 6".
*These sheets do not fit standard pack-and-play pads.
Our silk bedding can be hand or machine washed. If machine washing, we strongly recommend using a fine mesh laundry bag.
Our silk fabric is designed to be naturally hypoallergenic, resistant to dust mites, mold, fungus, and other allergens. The silk crib sheet is breathable and super soft, making it the ideal sleep environment for your precious baby.
Your baby's delicate skin is uniquely vulnerable to problems like dryness, eczema, and cradle cap. Silk crib sheets and pillowcases help with these conditions by keeping infant skin well-hydrated to help prevent and heal the dry, scaly patches and irritation common with eczema. Silk fabric has anti-fungal and wicking properties that also help control cradle cap, a yeast infection of baby's scalp, face, and skin folds.
Pure silk is a natural, protein-based fiber with a unique biological structure. Unlike cotton, which absorbs moisture and stays damp, silk sheets and pillowcases wick away moisture to keep you cool and dry in warm weather or if you’re little one is a hot sleeper. When the conditions turn cool, the air pockets in silk fibers work to insulate and keep you warm. This makes silk the ideal fabric for sleeping comfortably year-round, in any weather, and under any conditions.
This amazing fabric makes for the ideal sleep environment for your little one. Lightweight and ultra-breathable, silk helps to regulate baby's body temperature and also wicks away moisture to keep the them dry and comfortable all night long.
Some babies have a distinct bald patch on the back of their heads as the result of friction against hard surfaces like mattresses or car seats. Cotton crib bedding can contribute to the problem, as fibers tug on delicate baby hair and cause it to fall out. A silk charmeuse crib sheet and and pillowcase allows your baby's head to glide friction-free across its smooth surface with no rubbing, tugging, or tearing at fragile hair.
Mulberry Park Silks prioritizes safety. Our natural silk products are already hypoallergenic, but we've taken the additional step of obtaining an outside safety certification. Every product we make is independently tested and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified to be tested for over 1000 harmful toxins and chemicals. We want your little one's beauty sleep to be absolutely worry-free!
My 3 month old had developed a bald spot on the back of his head from his cotton crib sheet and I was really on the fence about what felt like splurging for silk crib sheets but I just felt like having his little hairs yanked at night must be so uncomfortable so I just went for it. An unexpected benefit of these sheets however, is that my baby has slept his longest stretches in the last two nights since putting the sheets on his mattress. He went from waking up every 2-4 hours (with an occasional 6 hour stretch) to sleeping a full 8.5 hours two nights in a row. This is incredible. I know it has everything to do with how much more comfortable he is sleeping on this sheet.

After searching for what seemed like forever... I finally found true silk fitted sheets for my daughter's crib. I have a satin pillowcase but since my daughter is still a baby and can't use pillows, I was left to use the regular cotton sheets. Until I stumbled upon Mulberry silks. Holy moly my daughter LOVES it... and I say that because before she would always get hot but now she actually loves to roll around in her crib and enjoy the cool sheet on her skin. And this Mama loves that her very curly hair is knots and frizz-free. Now that I spoiled my daughter, I want to spoil myself. I'm saving up for a silk sheet for my king size bed. Oh, it's definitely going to happen. And no worries about the wrinkles they disappear once on the bed and just use a very gentle soap to clean it

My little pumpkin sleeps so much better on these sheets. They keep him cool at night and most importantly protect his hair. Due to cradle cap a lot of his hair came out but with these sheets his hair is growing back sooo fast! This is a must have for babies!"

There's a lot of science behind why silk is so wonderful for you. We're happy to share our expertise to help you understand why silk is so special.
Silk is a protein-based fiber. Your hair and skin are also protein-based. This is why silk nourishes hair and skin and helps them retain natural moisture. In fact, lots of spa- and salon-level hair and skin products contain silk protein, known as sericin.
Silk amino acids are natural water-soluble glycoproteins extracted from silk. Therefore, you will see the term "silk amino acids," also referred to as "sericin" or "silk protein." The protein structure of amino acids in our skin and the protein structure of amino acids in silk are highly compatible.
Amino acids are the building blocks used to make peptides and proteins we all need to stay healthy. When a silkworm creates its filament, the silk fiber is "glued together" with sericin or silk amino acids. Many high-end cosmetics and lotions secret ingredients are the essential amino acids and sericin they extract from silk. When you sleep on a silk pillowcase or silk bed sheets, your skin and hair also benefit from these natural amino acids and sericin found in the silk fiber.
As a protein-based fiber, silk is hypoallergenic and naturally resistant to mold, dust mites, fungus, and other allergens. It is non-irritating and ideal for sensitive skin. Silk is recommended for anyone with sensitive skin or conditions like acne, eczema, or psoriasis.
Silk fiber has a unique molecular structure. It is breathable and moisture wicking. In hot temperatures, silk keeps you cool. In colder temperatures, silk creates pockets of insulation that trap air to keep you warm. It is the ideal fabric for sleeping well and regulating temperature in any conditions.
A natural silk bedding is a perfect choice for anyone with acne-prone or sensitive skin. Additionally, it is hypoallergenic and naturally resistant to mold, dust mites, fungus, and other allergens. In fact, skincare specialists and dermatologists often recommend sleeping on silk to help manage these skin conditions.
While silk is not magical, a Mulberry Park bedding has special properties that make it the ideal sleep surface for people with sensitive skin or conditions like acne, eczema, or psoriasis.
Mulberry Park silk bedding is spun from the highest quality silk in the market: Grade 6A. The individual silk fibers are thin, fine, and strong, for the ultimate in breathable comfort.
Pure mulberry silk wicks away moisture, which keeps it away from sensitive skin.
The unique cellular structure of silk fiber allows it to naturally regulate temperature, keeping you warm in winter, cool in summer, and comfortable year-round.
Silk fibers contain a special protein known as sericin, which naturally repels bacteria, mold, dust mites, and other allergens.
At Mulberry Park, we believe you should feel absolutely confident that any silk you put next to your skin is safe, non-toxic, and natural. That's why we've taken the step of certifying all of our products to the rigorous criteria of OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. This independent certification ensures that every item we produce is tested for over 1000 harmful toxins and chemicals, giving you peace of mind with every use.
Mulberry Park silk bedding is all made of 100% natural Mulberry silk in a luxurious charmeuse weave.
Charmeuse is not a type of silk but rather a type of weave. When silk is manufactured in a charmeuse weave, it gives the fabric a smooth, shiny finish on one side and the reverse (or backside) has a soft matte finish. In a charmeuse weave, the warp threads cross over four of the backing weft threads. This creates a lightweight silk fabric with a beautiful sheen perfect for bedding, robes, and sleepwear.
Our silk is always graded 6A, which is the highest quality silk on the market. No matter who you buy your silk from, never settle for inferior quality silk, always purchase Grade 6A silk quality.
Mulberry Park Silks was named "Best Overall Sheet Set" by both Women's Health and Prevention's online magazine in its ranking of the top silk bedding. Additionally, our pillowcases are ranked in Oprah Magazine as one of the "Best Silk Pillowcases".
Of course, we love selling silk products, but our goal is to build a lasting relationship founded on trust, transparency, and value. Our silk is the absolute finest on the market. We also believe that our ultra-soft and smooth natural silk bedding will have you sleeping better and more beautifully.
But we want you to be sure before you buy. That's why we offer a complimentary silk swatch sample program. You can order complimentary swatches of our silk fabrics to check out at home before you purchase.
We're also here to answer any questions and offer specific recommendations. Unlike many silk sellers who operate from overseas, Mulberry Park Silks is headquartered in Branford, CT. Our team is here and ready to assist!
Never did I think I would buy silk sheets for myself so much for my baby but she was rubbing all the hair from the back of her head away during sleep from soothing herself. She would wake up and her head was becoming red. The sheets 100% helped with this. She is growing hair back there again and it is no longer irritated! Whoop whoop!
