My 3 month old had developed a bald spot on the back of his head from his cotton crib sheet and I was really on the fence about what felt like splurging for silk crib sheets but I just felt like having his little hairs yanked at night must be so uncomfortable so I just went for it. It has only been two nights so it is too soon to see about his hair, although I am confident it will grow back.
An unexpected benefit of these sheets however, is that my baby has slept his longest stretches in the last two nights since putting the sheets on his mattress. He went from waking up every 2-4 hours (with an occasional 6 hour stretch) to sleeping a full 8.5 hours two nights in a row. This is incredible. I know it has everything to do with how much more comfortable he is sleeping on this sheet.
I washed the sheet before putting it on his mattress and it washed and air dried beautifully. He has an ikea sniglar crib and a newton mattress and the sheet works perfectly with both- fits the newton mattress well and does not snag on the natural wood of the crib.
I will be buying a spare!

I do not know how to amend or edit a review but read the only 4 star review. I will say that I cannot relate to whether the sheets show spit-up. Unlike my first and especially second baby, little three has a gut of steel and rarely ever has even a dribble of spit up. *** What I can say is that she cries. I mean CRIES. Enormous alligator tears with gigantic salty tear drops that soak her clothes, my clothes, her sheets, etc. Little girl's salty tears will show up damp on contact, but after they dry, the sheet still looks impossibly clean. I'm not sure how any silk fabric is capable of that, but I do know that I see damp spots that seem to all but disappear.

I got the silk bassinet sheet and the crib sheets. They fit my daughters beds perfectly. Her hair has been growing in consistently since we started using these. I suspected the cotton sheets were rubbing her hair out because she had a bald spot in the back. Now, her hair is completely filled in. I’ll keep ordering these for every bed she gets!

I really enjoyed the Goodnight Green crib sheet. My daughter loved putting her face against the material and slept soundly! Ive only washed it once with "Branch Basics" but it seemed to have held up well. I purchased the outlet version and had no issue putting it over my crib mattress. The only down side is the fabric shows spit up instantly so youll likely have to wash it every day or buy more :)
